Yancie David started SoLit Electric right here in Louisiana. She has been in the field since 2012, learning the trade hands-on from a mentor named Ricky who taught her everything she knows.
Ricky didn't hand her a textbook. He gave her a toolbelt and let her earn her place call by call. More than ten years later, that hands-on approach is still why customers keep calling her back. Ricky is still one of her closest friends today, and she's now a master electrician working with the local union. Yancie learned early on that this trade is about building relationships as much as circuits.
