What this covers

This policy covers solitelectric.com, the forms on it, and the tools we use to publish our own content. It does not cover any other website you reach from here.

Information you give us

When you submit the estimate form or email us, we receive what you typed: your name, a phone number or email address, the address of the property, and a description of the work. We use it to answer you and to quote the job. We keep it as long as we need it for that, and we do not sell it.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get used. It records things like the page you viewed, roughly where the visit came from, and what kind of device you were on. It does not give us your name. We also count taps on the phone number and estimate form submissions so we know which parts of the site are working. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with that data.

The Pinterest publishing tool

We publish our own pins to our own Pinterest boards through a private application we built for that purpose. That application connects only to the SoLit Electric Pinterest account, acts only on that one account, and can only create pins and read the boards on it. It does not read anyone else's profile, followers, messages, or activity. It does not collect personal information from Pinterest about anybody, and it does not send Pinterest data to any other service. The one thing it stores is the access token Pinterest issues for our own account, and that stays on the machine that runs it. It can be revoked at any time from Pinterest's connected apps settings.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information.
• We do not buy lists or add you to marketing you did not ask for.
• We do not run advertising trackers on this site beyond Google Analytics.
