The SoLit Story
Yancie started in the trade in 2014. The electrician who took her on handed her a set of tools and told her to get after it, and she spent the next four years working beside him. They still talk.
She had her master electrician's license by 2018, and that is the year she picked the name. SoLit is what came after. She wanted something steady she could build for her son and her family, and doing the work herself was the only way she could see to get there. She filed the LLC in 2023, when the company became official. That was the whole plan, and it is still the plan.
She runs this company the way she would want somebody to run it for her own family. If the fix is a small one, that is the first thing you will hear, because she would rather tell you a job does not need doing than sell you one that does. If it is a real job, you get the reason and a straight number. No pressure, no runaround.
Then she answers the phone when your lights go out, day or night. That part is not marketing. She is a Louisiana master electrician, she owns this company, and she is the one who shows up.
